Sim & Nathaniel

Yesterday, I went out with Sim and Nathaniel for their engagement session. We took advantage of the warm sunny weather. It been too long since I last shot an engagement session in above freezing temperatures…Yahoo! I always enjoy photographing engagement sessions as it gives me an opportunity to get to know the couple without the rush and chaos of the wedding day. I had a great afternoon with S+N. Looking forward to photographing their wedding in June.

Paul and Missy’s Wedding

This past weekend I had the privilege of photographing Paul + Missy’s wedding. This couple is amazing! Two of the nicest people I have ever met, they were up for anything and were willing to do whatever was asked. Missy looked stunning and can pull off “sexy stare” extremely well (see below). We lucked out and got some decent weather and timed thins perfect to capture the two during the “golden” hour. The ceremony and reception was at the Arboretum in Chaska. Everything was beautiful and went so smoothly. Paul and Missy were so genuine and cute together. Their gratitude speeches during the reception almost made me teary. P+M, thanks for letting me capture your day. You guys were great!

Tammy & Nathan

This evening I worked with Tammy and Nathan. These two are the uber cute together. They met at a heavy metal concert and the rest is history. Nathan contacted me about doing something that had a heavy metal feel. Their invitation is going out as band press kit. Hence the black and white photos and grainy images. I had to step out of the box a little with this shoot. As you can probably tell, this is not my typical photography style, but I still think we got some great shots. Thanks you two for making me try something new. Here are some preview photos:
