This week Emily and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary. I cannot believe how time flies. Our marriage just seems to keep getting better and better. Even though our anniversary was on Thursday, we were able to finally go out tonight. We made dinner reservations at the ever fabulous Pazzaluna. It’s a very nice and tasty restaurant in St Paul. Emily wanted me to make sure and bring the camera to get some shots to remember this special day. Fortunately, I brought the camera, but unfortunately, I forgot the memory card. Doh!! So when we got home, Em made me make it up to her. We pulled out some of my lighting and staged a quick shoot of the two of us. For anyone who has tried this, it is not easy. Plus, it was getting quite dark. Well we lucked out and got a few nice images. Em, I love you more and I look forward to many many many more wonderful years together!!

Adorable couple…Matthew & Stephanie had been engaged for less than 24 hours when this engagement session was shot. They were just on cloud 9! The awesome was just pouring off them. So cute together and so natural. Nothing is more gratifying to me than capturing the love between two people. I think these photos sum up their love for one another. Thanks M+S, I had such a great time with you two.

Sim & Nathaniel’s wedding was just perfect. They were a little shy when we did their engagement session a few months ago, but the wedding day was a different story. They couldn’t help not smiling or enjoying each other. We avoided the rain (barely) and had such a wonderful day. The ceremony was at Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel. Then we headed over to Minnehaha Falls to get the bride and groom alone. The reception was at the Embassy Suites. N+S you two were so great to work with and I wish you the best!!!
