B+K were a blast to work with. We head to downtown St Paul for their session. The fall leaves were at peak color as you can see from the photos. Enjoy!!!

I’m beyond excited to introduce you to this couple. We met Thomas and Kristin right after they moved to Minneapolis a few years ago. They go to our church and so when they moved in we invited them to our place for dinner. Ever since then they have been our best friends here in Minnesota. They are the kind of friends that you can call up at moment’s notice and just hang out without a purpose. We pretty much entertain each other through goofing off and laughter. I was so happy when Kristin asked me to do a session for them. I love nothing more than capturing the emotion between a couple…it was extremely easy to capture these two!!! They are adorable together (see the proof below). Thomas and Kristin have been married for a few years and are still cute together (see proof below).
Emily and I are so lucky to have them here and will really miss them when Thomas completes law school in June. Thomas and Kristin…hope you guys LOVE these photos, because I sure do!!!!

[...] in the whole wide world…Thomas and Kristin had their baby this week. You may remember Thomas and Kristin’s shoot from last September. I was supposed to document their birth story, but was unable to [...]
When I think about an October wedding…I think about the crisp air, autumn colors, and beautiful weather. I imagine Casey may have had similar thoughts while planning her wedding. Well as usual, Minnesota was unpredictable and we ended up with a terribly cold day with snow! Lucky for me, I had a wedding with a couple stacked head to toe with awesomeness. Casey and Mike did not let the snow and cold weather keep them from being outside for photos. If one were to just look out a window, the day actually looked gorgeous and the weather appeared beautiful till you walked outside and felt the brisk wind and cool temperatures. Mike planned and carried out arranging a golf cart which escorted him and Casey up to the top of a golf course overlooking the Minneapolis skyline. He even had a guitar which he used to serenade Casey. It was so fun to watch these two on their wedding day. They have something special and I think everyone could see that on the wedding day. Casey & Mike thanks so much for hanging in there for the photos on such a chilly day. It was a pleasure capturing your wedding day. Congrats you two!

I had the opportunity to photograph Brian in St Paul. His family are good friends of ours. Brian’s mom wanted to capture some photos of him as he is preparing to serve a 2 year mission for the LDS church. This session was a fun change of pace. Brian is a great guy and no doubt will be a great missionary. This session was shot early on a Saturday morning. I loved the morning light, it was so perfect! BTW, if you’re at Costco…watch out…Brian is one of the nicest guys you’ll find working there.

The following sequence of images were the result of an idea that I had to have Brian act as though he were a church choir…love these shots!
