Burnsville High School Senior Photography – Cam

Meet Cam…he’s one of John Sharpe Photography’s 2010 Senior Reps.  We shot his session this past week and this kid has a very bright future ahead.  Maybe, I shouldn’t call him a kid…Cam is 6’-6” and 225lbs.  My only regret for this shoot was that I didn’t bring my step ladder. Cam is the starting quarterback for Burnsville High School.  He’s got a lot of top Colleges looking at him for his skill on the field.  Cam’s talent, however, doesn’t end on the football field.  Cam is all around nice guy and hard worker.  He’s on the Student Council and is a great leader.  Cam’s a stud and we’re really HAPPY with the images from this session!

When it comes to High School Senior Photography, we want our Seniors to have images they can be proud of.  I don’t want Cam to look back at his Senior pictures in ten years and say, “Wow, I was such a dork!”.  John Sharpe Photography is not about anything cheesy.  We seek to capture the senior as he/she really is.  We’re excited to have Cam as one of our reps this year.

If you’re looking for something a little different for your Senior photos, talk to Cam for more info or contact me directly.

Here’s Cam’s Session:

Florence (Firenze) Italy – Travel Photography

This is the third Italy post!  Still many to come!  Florence or Firenze is such a beautiful city! The shopping is great and so is the Gelato! While in Florence, we stayed at a Monastery turned Hostel – Foresteria Firenze.  It was a clean, quaint, and quite picturesque.  We enjoyed our time in Florence and found it to be the city where we shopped the most.

In case you missed the other Italy Posts, here they are:

Burano, Italy (City Painted like a Crayon Box)

Venice, Italy (Come on…it’s a city built on water)

Taking photos in the mirror never get old.  The next four images are from our hostel.

Minneapolis Wedding Photographer – St Paul LDS Temple Wedding – Dave & Jessica Married

As I have stated many times on my blog…I love it when my clients become friends! However, in this case, Dave and Jessica were first friends and then clients (in fact, really great friends).  I really have never had the opportunity to shoot a friend’s wedding till now.  Dave and Jessica’s wedding took place at the St Paul LDS Temple earlier this month.  As I described in Dave & Jessica’s Engagement Session post, “These two literally are more compatible than peanut butter & jelly.”  They are just perfect for one another! Thanks guys trusting me to capture your special day! And thank you Jessica for wearing such awesome red shoes!  Congratulations and I wish you two the best in the future!  Without further adieu, here is Dave and Jessica’s big day!

John,

Beautiful pictures, great memories, very classy photographs that really captured the joy of the occasion. Very interesting photo techniques with the different lighting and exposures, really liked the black and white photographs.

John,
Just took a look at the wedding pictures of Dave and Jessica. They are wonderful. I was very interested in how the bubble blowing photos would look. I have enjoyed them all and look forward to seeing more. You are a talented photographer!
God bless you

Kim, a friend from the BMW - July 21, 2010 - 9:50 am

…no words… I truly can’t explain what I’m feeling right now. I wish I could. I’m still in speachless mode. Looking at your wedding pictures (3x’s+) was an edifying/uplifting expereince. All I can say is THANKS JOHN for catching the moments. With all my heart I wanted to be there and because of these two wonderful people and your talent I was still able to be apart of it.

Wish you could have captured my special day less than 2 months before. I’m in love with your style. Keep up the good work

Dave's Mom and Dad - July 21, 2010 - 8:28 am

These are great. We are looking forward to seeing the rest. We will treasure these pictures you took John.

Nichole Seitz - July 20, 2010 - 5:58 pm

From one photographer to another, (and a person that was at Jess & Dave’s wedding) your pictures turned out lovely! Great work!!

St Paul Senior Photographer – Sneak Peek!

Just had to make a quick blog post tonight.  Cam is one of the 2011 Senior Reps for John Sharpe Photography. His rep session was shot tonight and I’m pretty stoked about the images.  More coming soon.
