Minneapolis Wedding Photographer – Maplewood Engagement – Jenna & Justin

I have been super excited to share Jenna & Justin’s session.  These two had me laughing so hard during the session (usually it’s the other way around).  Justin has a great sense of humor and always keep Jenna smiling.  They are perfect together! We almost cancelled this session because of forecasted rain.  As we were finishing up, the rain began to fall.  If you know me and my photography…that’s just reason to shoot some more.  Jenna and Justin obliged to taking the last few photos in the rain…always a treat and always worth it.  I love having clients that trust me!  Thanks Jenna and Justin!

Venice Italy – Travel Photography

Since posting the images from Burano, many have emailed and asked about when I’ll be posting the other photos.  I will try to post a new Italy post each week.  I still have 3 more cities to post and other various Italy posts, but for now, here is the beautiful Venice.  Venice is unlike anything I have ever seen.  The architecture and history contained within this labyrinth of a city is unbelievable.  I could only imagine what this city looked like in its prime.  The palaces here are breathtaking. I could have photographed here for days.

If you are interested in purchasing any images, you can visit the gallery.

Venice has a pigeon problem and they don’t know how to exactly fix it.  I have never seen so many pigeons.

Minneapolis Wedding Photographer – Silverwood Park Wedding – Kelly & Fred

Last month I shot Fred & Kelly’s beautiful wedding.  Up until their wedding day, I have always managed to have good luck and not get rained out for outdoor weddings…that all changed with this one.  Although we had to move the outdoor ceremony indoors, Fred and Kelly were not going to let some rain ruin their day.  I always tell my clients that rain on the wedding day adds to the memories and I think photos below are proof.  I just loved shooting this wedding.  I loved that Kelly’s dress was Tea length, in fact, it was a lifesaver on very wet day.   She pulled off that 50’s style look perfectly.  Fred and Kelly were married at the lovely Silverwood Park and despite the rain, the day went off without a hitch.   Fred and Kelly thanks for braving the rain and allowing to capture this very memorable day.

Minneapolis Wedding Photographer – Maplewood Engagement Session – Kristen & Evan

So pleased to introduce Kristen and Evan to the blog.  Having met them for the first time at their engagement shoot, I quickly noticed how ridiculously cute these two are together.  Kristen & Evan have been together since first meeting in middle school.  I just loved working with these two and cannot wait for their wedding next month.

I really try hard to make each and every engagement session unique and memorable.  For this session, I wanted flowers…and flowers are what we found.  I would have never believe this place was within walking distance of my home.  Flowers, Flowers, Flowers!
