Mason – Maplewood Portrait Photographer

Well…pretty much our best friends in the whole wide world…Thomas and Kristin had their baby this week. You may remember Thomas and Kristin’s shoot from last September. I was supposed to document their birth story, but was unable to get back from WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographer International). So Saturday, Emily and I dropped by to meet Mason! Generally, fresh out the womb babies look like aliens to me, but not Mason. He’s actually a cute little guy! Although I don’t shoot a lot of infants, it sure was fun to capture this special moment for our friends. Here is a preview of the shoot. Congrats Thomas and Kristin and welcome little Mason!

Gabby – Minneapolis Children’s Photographer

I’m so excited to feature this little one on the blog. Gabby is the newest (and first) addition to Carmen and Mark’s family. Gabby is adorable. She was so excited to meet her parents that she decided to come 7 1/2 weeks early!!! These photos were taken right around Gabby’s original due date. Gabby’s mom goes to medical school with my wife Emily. We are so happy for them and grateful to have them as our friends!!! And Carmen and Mark are happy as well (see below). Enjoy!! The expression below might be my favorite! Can’t decide… Mark is a friendly giant (even to me), I just love this one with Gabby!!! Anastin – Minneapolis Children’s Photographer

This cute little one is Anastin. I have been photographing her since she was tiny. I last photographed her at just under 18 months and I’m amazed how much she has grown. The biggest surprise for me was how much she talks now. We had a great session…mom even let her play dress up. It was adorable. That said, here’s Anastin’s 2yr old session…

AVA – Minneapolis Children’s Photographer

I hate to overpost a session, but this cute little girl is – Ava. You may recognize her from the family shoot I just posted for the Kopischke Family. Ava was so cute that I feel she deserved her own post. This little girl is going to be a “heartbreaker”. She was adorable and was willing to obey my every command (with a little coaxing). Here are a few.

BTW, I rarely if ever use any sorts of textures on images as I really like things clean and simple, but for some reason, I wanted something the black & white images. Give me your thoughts…yay or nay on texture effects? I’m referring to the first and last images.
