Kelly and Jason are perfect for each other. Within minutes of starting their session, I could see instantly that they genuinely enjoy being with each other. There were no awkward moments with them…they just know how to have fun together. They told me right away that they have a “guilty pleasure” of watching every episode of America’s Next Top Model and that they know how to smize. It’s rare to find couples that are so content just being with each other and have so much fun in the process. Both Kelly and Jason have such a contagious laugh..loved it! To say I’m super excited to work with this fun couple would be an understatement. This session was great, there was such a variety of light from overcast to diffused to sunny golden light. Looking forward to their wedding later this fall 
I must be pretty funny as I could make these two last on command.

My favorite photo is the one where Jason & Kelly are a ways down the winding wooden path and have stopped to smooch. They are not looking at the camera and it is as if they thought they were alone.

There really is something special and gratifying about being a photographer. It’s cheesy and a bit cliché, but I love freezing moments in time. Last week I was contacted by Adam to capture him asking his girl to marry him. I jumped at the idea and knew it would be a moment full of emotion. It wasn’t till after I got home last night and began looking at the images, that I realized how special and important it was to capture this moment for these two! I just kept wishing that I would have hired someone to capture my proposal to my wife. There are so many momentous events (Birth Stories and Engagement Proposals are just a couple that come to mind) in our lives that go unphotographed (just made up that word). How many married people looking at this post would loved to have this moment documented? So if you’re looking for this type of session for an upcoming proposal…let me know!
For this shoot, I couldn’t help but feel like a ninja. I was hiding out by the kitchen and shot the first image in the restaurant through some dishes. Sure was a lot of fun! Adam had the restaurant play a few of his and Kyla’s favorite songs during dinner with the family. She just thought they were playing some great music…

I have been super excited to share Jenna & Justin’s session. These two had me laughing so hard during the session (usually it’s the other way around). Justin has a great sense of humor and always keep Jenna smiling. They are perfect together! We almost cancelled this session because of forecasted rain. As we were finishing up, the rain began to fall. If you know me and my photography…that’s just reason to shoot some more. Jenna and Justin obliged to taking the last few photos in the rain…always a treat and always worth it. I love having clients that trust me! Thanks Jenna and Justin!

So pleased to introduce Kristen and Evan to the blog. Having met them for the first time at their engagement shoot, I quickly noticed how ridiculously cute these two are together. Kristen & Evan have been together since first meeting in middle school. I just loved working with these two and cannot wait for their wedding next month.
I really try hard to make each and every engagement session unique and memorable. For this session, I wanted flowers…and flowers are what we found. I would have never believe this place was within walking distance of my home. Flowers, Flowers, Flowers!
