Although I’m primarily a wedding photographer, I do also photograph a limited number of family, high school senior, children’s session each year. Here are some of my favorites from this past year:

Yeah, we made it on the top of 2011!!! Totally love Will flying through the air, makes me laugh everytime I see it. 
Ellie is such a sweet person and was an absolute pleasure to work with. She fills her time with dance and also enjoys photography. We shot her session in St Paul on a cold windy day. You wouldn’t know it from the photos. Thanks Ellie! Wishing you the Best during your senior year!!

As I mentioned last week, 2010 has truly been a remarkable year. Although I primarily focus my business on wedding photography, I still love portrait sessions as well. In 2011, I look to expand the portrait side of the business. Before closing the door on 2010, I wanted to post some of my favorite portrait images from this past year.

A spectacular collection. My favorite has to be the father throwing his toddler son into the air. The look of joy on the kid’s face is beyond description. In so many of these photos you capture the moment perfectly. Exquisitely done.

They are all beautiful–my favorite is the one of the family huddled together in the snow. There is so much expression in all their faces. That to me is “perfect” family portrait. Wrapped in each others arms.

Meet another Class of 2011 North St Paul High School Senior…Aaron. He’s just an all around nice guy who enjoys Basketball, Volleyball, and Singing. Aaron has an amazing voice and is very talented. As for our shoot, the light was wonderful and it was a pleasure spending a couple hours with Aaron. Here are some photos from his session. Enjoy!
