Just so happy for these two! Jess and Chris are genuinely nice people…they have been so great to work with over the course of this year. I photographed their engagement session back in August on one of the hottest days of the year. I feel they were rewarded for their suffering and blessed with absolutely gorgeous weather for their October wedding. The weather was absolutely perfect. Eliza–Baby Hats

9 November 2011 Personal

A couple months ago, my mom came to visit Eliza for a week. During this time, my mother crocheted a bunch of cute hats for Eliza. I finally got around to photographing her with them. These might be some of my favorite Eliza photos so far. Last night, I asked Emily, “Why is Eliza so stinking cute? She is waaaay cuter than us”. I don’t know where exactly she got all that cuteness, but I’m so grateful for that little girl. We are blessed.

Oakland, CA Wedding–Dara + Jeffrey

7 November 2011 Wedding

I had the amazing opportunity of photographing Dara and Jeffrey’s wedding in Oakland, California a few weeks ago. I don’t think there could have been better weather on their wedding…it was perfect. Sometimes I feel like a broken record as I post photos from each of my clients’ weddings. I’m always saying, “they were the cutest couple” and “they were so in love” and “they are perfect for each other”, but I cannot help but say this also about Dara and Jeffrey.

I cannot help but think I have the best job in the whole world. I get to work with couples on their happiest day and capture moments that will be cherished for a lifetime (and more). Everyone made me feel like one of the family… it was great! Dara and Jeffrey were married at the beautiful Oakland LDS Temple and had their reception at the Blackhawk Country Club.

Congratulations to Dara and Jeffrey…I wish you both the best together!!!

Whoa what a GOOD looking couple! Seriously. I don’t know the couple, but I *sorta* know the Carlson’s. (Cute couple in the bridal party with the 2 adorable children, Annie and Will.)
